Claire's 2007 –54 % Mourvedre, 23% Syrah, 23% Zinfandel. Low-key aromas of earth/spice, red cherry, strawberry. Round and mouth-filling with flavors mirroring the nose. Like some past Mourvedre-based wines of ours, this finishes with a Pinot-like tangy character. The alcohol should read 14.3%.
