Caitlin's 2009 – 60% Petit Verdot/40% Merlot and both Cabernets. 22 months in 100% new French and Polish oak. Extremely deep, powerful aromas of spicy black fruit (blackberry and black cherry), earth and melted chocolate. Deep and powerful in the mouth, with full flavor expression through the mid-palate and finish. Although fairly drinkable now with steak or lamb, this will benefit from another 5-6 years in the bottle. 70 cases produced.
