Back Lot 2008 – A blend of 46% Mourvedre, 36% Syrah, 10% Zinfandel and 8% Grenache. Interesting, subtle nose of pepper, earth, red cherry/cranberry and a hint of oak spice. Round and edge-less in the mouth, with pure, lively flavors of spicy red cherry, earth and spice. I’m going to drink a lot of this over the next 10 years.
