With the 2004 vintage, we were finally able to produce wines that are deep, age-worthy, aromatically complex and finely constructed. In particular, Caitlin’s and Padres will be at their best in 3-4 years and will drink well for 5-8 additional years, at the minimum. The slow, consistent aging afforded by screw caps will undoubtedly aid in the realization of these wines’ potential.
